"Cardiff Records" is a 6 volume set of extracts, notes, etc of numerous historical records of Cardiff and environs by John Hobson Matthews. Together, the volumes offer a fascinating history of the area from the twelfth to the nineteenth century. The first volume was published in 1898, and the sixth in 1911.
