Cardiff Polyphonic Choir is one of Britain's leading mixed choirs. Now in its 40th year it has performed with many of the great orchestras of our time - The Philharmonia, The London Symphony, The Royal Philharmonic, The BBC Welsh, London Baroque, The London Mozart Players and The Halle. It has sung under conductors including Sir Colin Davis, Sir Charles Groves, Richard Hickox, Owain Arwel Hughes, Roger Norrington, John Eliot Gardner, Andrew Davis, Jane Glover, Paavo Berglund and John Aldis.

Details about the activities of a Choir founded by the Welsh settlers in Blackstone in 1886, and nurtured by Lewis Thomas from Tal y Bont near Aberythwyth -- Thomas was 'the Coal King' of Ipswich. The Blackstone-Ipswich Cambrian Choir still sings in Welsh as well as English, and in five other languages as well. It has a close relationship with the United Welsh Church, also founded by Lewis Thomas, in this little piece of Hen Wlad 'down under'.

Neath Port Talbot Cancer Challenge Singers

Neath Port Talbot Cancer Challenge Singers is a mixed choir of 70 voices. The choir's primary aim is raise funds for the Neath Port Talbot Cancer Challenge Charity which, since it was formed in 1997, has raised about £450, 000 for local hospitals of which the choir has contributed £40,000. When touring the UK and Europe the choir raises money for local charities. The choir is frequently asked to sing at weddings and private functions.
